JenErik Coffee is a small batch coffee roasting company that began in October 2017. Our name comes from the two founders Jennifer and Erik. We are a quality-oriented specialty roaster emphasizing our commitment to air roasting. Our mission and passion is to provide the best cup of coffee and do it by purchasing our beans from companies that source their beans from responsible coffee growers around the world. We are happy to keep our roasting business customer-centered so we can serve our clients better, even if that means remaining small. We are proud to be a small batch roasted coffee company!
What Separates Us
We roast our coffee in small batches, so small in-fact that our beans are roasted ounces at a time - a painstaking technique to ensure uniformity throughout the entire roasting process. Yes, it is meticulous, however we want you to experience a flavorful and fantastic cup of coffee and we believe this is the best way to bring out the unique flavor of each bean profile and to preserve the integrity of the bean during the roasting process. Why is our coffee so fresh? The simple answer is because we don't roast it until you place your order. That means beans aren't sitting on a shelf getting stale while waiting to be purchased and enjoyed. Once you place your order, only then are the beans roasted and delivered within one week.
After months of research we partnered with a supplier that we trust, a company that offers fair-trade and organic coffee beans. We purchase our beans from them because of the quality of their beans, we believe in their mission and we share the belief that people matter.
Although we believe our beans make a great cup of coffee using just about any method of brewing, we recommend the pour-over method to obtain the best flavor and results. Not only does the coffee taste better this way, you will also enjoy the full experience of brewing your own coffee. From first grind to final sip, every step of this process is a opportunity to experience the enticing aroma, delightful taste, and the magic that becomes the perfect cup of coffee.
Our regular bean offering is the Guatemalan Finca Santa Ana. This bean is offered in every bag size and bottle in the choice of our three roasts. Grown high in the Sierra de Las Minas mountain range, in Guatemala’s eastern highlands this lush, rain-drenched region contains some of Central America’s largest cloud forests and much of the area was declared a biosphere reserve in 1990. These beans are wet-processed, resulting in a coffee that is cleaner, brighter, and fruitier. This is a very versatile bean offers notes of chocolate, almond, honey and vanilla.
We offer many other delicious beans and add specialty offerings throughout the year. Detailed information regarding such offerings can be found under each product under the "Coffee" link at the top of the page.
We believe you will love our coffee, however sometimes that just doesn't happen. If at any time you are not satisfied with your coffee please contact us so we can work with you to make sure you are satisfied. Whether your feedback is about the coffee beans, the customer service, shipping or delivery, we value your feedback and want to know what you think. We want to know about your experience, especially if it's good and even if it's bad. If you are a customer and would like to leave feedback you may do so below.
